They have an open bit design to allow larger particles to pass through and feature quick connect fittings. Quick-Connect Pins, Handles, and Extensions are available and can be purchased separately. Carbon Steel Augers are suited for most applications while the Stainless-Steel Auger is designed for environmental sampling with minimal contamination.
